Expectations
As a student in the distributed learning program, you are expected to:
Attend a mandatory group orientation to help you understand online learning priorities.
Complete a two week Learning Strategies course.
Complete your first assignment from each academic course within the first two weeks of the two weeks of completing Learning Strategies.
Develop a course learning schedule under the guidance of your teacher.
Drop in to the Academic Assistance / DL Support room for assistance with homework and assignments.
Communicate with your teacher regularly (at least once every two weeks) through various modes including mail messages, telephone, face to face, teleconferencing and by submitting assignments.
Courses begin the second Wednesday of each month. Orientations will be held a week before the course start.
